What you'll be able to do once tutors open.
Tap Find a tutor on a weak chapter in the 360° view, or open Tutors in the web app's sidebar or on your phone's parent dashboard. Filter by language and price; sort by most active or by price.
Choose your child, then a day and an hour from the tutor's free times over the next two weeks. Audio is the default; Video adds a ₹50 StreakOwl fee. Sharing your child's topic results stays off unless you turn it on.
They accept, offer another time, or decline, within 24 hours and no later than 6 hours before the class. You hear at each step in the app and by push, and by email when a deadline is close. The Your sessions tab keeps every request in one place.
Before any parent can see a tutor, the tutor proves who they are, has their degree checked, agrees to our pledge and rules, and is approved by our team. There is no police or background check.
Tutors prove who they are through DigiLocker, with Aadhaar or a driving licence. The name must match, and they must be 18 or over. We never store the Aadhaar number, and nobody at StreakOwl can tick this check by hand.
A bachelor's degree or above, uploaded by the tutor and checked by our team.
Tutors check their Indian mobile number with a one-time code. Parents never see it.
To meet children only in StreakOwl classes a parent booked, and never to share or ask for phone numbers, social media or addresses.
Notice, being on time, cancellations and disputes, each in plain words. A tutor agrees again whenever a rule changes.
Approval is its own step, taken by our team once the checks are done. We can hide a tutor from parents, or close their account, at any time.

Every CBSE subject for Classes 4 to 10: Maths, Science (EVS in Classes 4 and 5), Social Science, English, Hindi and Sanskrit, taught in English, Telugu or Hindi. Tutors choose the classes they teach, and Find a tutor shows on a chapter only when a tutor teaches that class and subject.

Every tutor pledges to meet children only in StreakOwl classes a parent booked, and never to share or ask for phone numbers, social media or addresses. Breaking the pledge ends their account. Parents never see a tutor's number, and a tutor never sees your contact details or your child's school.
Once the first 10 tutors are verified, you can browse them and send requests from your parent dashboard. Paying, and holding the class inside StreakOwl, are not open yet, and nothing is charged until they are.
